Job summary

Hoist & Crane Service Group seeks an Elevator Technician to perform field service on elevators, VRCs, and Rack & Pinion. You will be an authority on technical elevator aspects and serve as onsite company representation.

Responsibilities include supervising crew, applying industry procedures, and maintaining safety, appearance, and productivity. Training, competitive wages, benefits, and company vehicles are provided.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in the elevator industry or equivalent.
• Possess or be eligible to get a CET or NEIEP elevator mechanic's certificate.
• Possess or be eligible to get a TWIC card.
• Elevator knowledge.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and sit or stand for long periods of time.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Computer proficient.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to pass Drug/alcohol screening and background check.
• Proven ability to communicate written/verbal.
• Good Verbal/Written Communication Skills.
• Knowledge of tools/craft.
• Must be dependable.
• Organizational Skills.
• Preferred candidates will possess active licenses in both Alabama and Florida.
