Job summary

Christopher Lee Structures is seeking an Elevator Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of residential and light commercial elevator systems. This field-based role covers travel within a defined service area and interactions with customers.

You will perform scheduled inspections, diagnose faults, and ensure compliance with safety codes. The position offers on-site work with travel, full-time hours, and opportunities for ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, mechanical, or related technical field.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for service calls.
• Physical ability to lift equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
• Willingness to obtain elevator certification (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections on elevator equipment.
• Identify and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
• Install and commission new elevator systems in residential and low-rise commercial settings.
• Respond to service requests, including occasional emergency or after-hours calls.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate job documentation.
• Ensure all work complies with applicable safety codes and regulations.
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding system status and repairs.
• Troubleshoot system performance issues and support continuous improvements.
• Assist with training and guidance for less experienced technicians when needed.

Salary: $32.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience

Job Summary

Christopher Lee Structures is seeking an Elevator Service Technician to support the maintenance, repair, and installation of residential and light commercial elevator systems. This position involves field service work, technical troubleshooting, and direct customer interaction. Technicians are expected to follow safety standards and deliver reliable service across a defined service area.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled maintenance and safety inspections on elevator equipment

Job Details

• Schedule: Minimum 40 hours per week; on-call rotation may be required

Compensation

• $32.00-$45.00 per hour, based on experience
