Job summary

Schindler Group in Denver is seeking a results-driven Project Manager to lead installation projects from award to turnover. You will collaborate with sales, engineering, and field teams to ensure specifications are met, manage budgets, timelines, and change orders, and build strong relationships with customers to drive profitability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of technical or sales experience in the elevator industry
• Strong leadership and people skills with track record of managing timelines and budgets
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities

Responsibilities

• Follow and manage new installation projects to achieve efficiency and profitability
• Review and book projects after award; provide completion dates and action plans
• Provide submittals to engineering and vendors; coordinate material deliveries
• Track job progress with field superintendent and managers
• Manage change notices and ensure signed approvals before work proceeds
• Monitor allowances to ensure profitability
• Ensure timely invoicing and 90% collection before turnover of elevator
• Participate in professional development programs to learn company products and procedures
