Schindler Elevator Corporation is seeking a Project Manager for New Installation in Denver. You will lead projects from award to turnover, coordinating with sales, engineering, and field teams to meet specifications and quality targets.

Responsibilities include managing schedules, submittals, and change orders, while driving profitability and customer satisfaction. A technical leader with strong communication and budgeting skills will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 3+ years of technical or sales experience in the elevator industry
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven leadership experience in project delivery
• Experience managing timelines and budgets
• Ability to build and maintain client relationships
• Comfort with change orders and subcontractor coordination
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Understanding of safety and compliance practices
• Customer-focused mindset with ability to connect with people

Responsibilities

• Manage new installation projects to achieve on-time closeout and profitability
• Book projects promptly after award and set completion timelines
• Provide approved submittals to engineering and vendors; coordinate with factory and superintendent
• Track progress with field superintendent and escalate when dates slip
• Identify and pursue change order opportunities; obtain signed changes
• Monitor allowances and project costs to ensure profitability
• Ensure timely invoicing and 90% payment prior to turnover
• Participate in professional development to expand product, service, and process knowledge
