Job summary

ADM in Mendota, IL is seeking an Elevator Operator/Rail Loader for 2nd shift (with training on 1st shift). You will manage wheat inventory, load/unload railcars, and perform rail movements while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires independence, punctuality, and strong communication skills, with a focus on GMP and lockout/tagout procedures. Training provided and benefits start day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Manages daily receiving, intake, transfer, and inventory of wheat with accurate recordkeeping.
• Loads/unloads rail cars/trucks for wheat, flour, and middlings with safety and efficiency.
• Coordinates railcar movement and related inventory activities.
• Operates locomotives, trackmobile/railcar movers, and other plant equipment; performs inspections.
