Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a reliable elevator operator to join our team. You will ensure safe movement of people and materials across floors, assist passengers, and maintain strict access controls. You will report issues promptly and support our safety programs.

Ideal candidates have prior elevator experience, strong communication skills, and a focus on detail and safety. This on-site role offers steady hours, opportunities for advancement, and a collaborative work environment within a global logistics

Responsibilities

• Operate passenger and freight elevators safely and efficiently
• Transport staff, delegates, and visitors between floors with courtesy and professionalism
• Assist passengers with boarding and exiting the elevators
• Ensure elevators stop accurately at designated floors
• Help with the loading and unloading of materials as needed
• Report any mechanical issues or malfunctions promptly to the maintenance team
• Verify access credentials and grounds passes to support building security
• Prevent unauthorized access to restricted floors through vigilant monitoring
• Ensure that no more than 10 individuals are present in the elevator at any given time to comply with safety regulations and operational standards
• Other duties as required and assigned
• Supports GEODIS’ programs for Safety, Health, Environment, Quality , Ethics, Compliance, CSR and Sustainability

What you will be doing:
