Position details:

This is an entry-level position responsible for operating the grain elevator, including loading, unloading, and transferring grain and grain products safely and efficiently. Responsibilities also include assisting or leading in grain handling, storage, facility/equipment maintenance, and elevator operations.

• Assist in loading, unloading, and transferring grain for truck, barge, and rail (location-specific).
• Perform basic housekeeping and cleaning.
• Assist in basic maintenance tasks.
• Ensure compliance with all safety programs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• One year of grain industry experience preferred.
• Basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work safely and in a quality-controlled environment.
• Physical requirements: walking, bending, stooping, climbing stairs and ladders, lifting up to 75 pounds, working in confined spaces, walking on catwalks up to 200 feet with safety equipment.
