Job summary

W3Global is seeking an Elevator Mechanic for a full-time, on-site role in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex. You will perform modernization, maintenance and repair of elevator systems, conducting inspections and diagnosing issues to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Reading schematics, documenting work, and coordinating with supervisors are essential. Candidates should have strong troubleshooting skills, 3+ years of elevator experience, and knowledge of electrical components.

Qualifications

• Must have expertise in elevator modernization and general maintenance & repair.
• Experience with electrical components used in elevator systems is required.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues.
• Prior elevator mechanic or maintenance technician experience is beneficial.
• Ability to read technical diagrams and follow safety regulations.

Role Description

The Elevator Mechanic is a full-time, on-site role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, responsible for the modernization, maintenance, and repair of elevator systems and related equipment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine inspections, diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, troubleshooting and resolving faults, and completing modernization and repairs to ensure safe and reliable operation. The role involves reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics, working with electrical components, documenting work performed, and communicating clearly with supervisors and clients regarding service needs and timelines. The Elevator Mechanic will also follow strict safety protocols, maintain tools and parts inventory, and collaborate with other team members to support smooth operations and meet customer service standards

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Elevator Modernization and general Maintenance & Repair

• Candidates should possess expertise working with Elevators and related mechanical systems
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Electricity and electrical components used in elevator systems
• Candidates should possess proven Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving technical issues
• Prior experience as an elevator mechanic, maintenance technician, or similar role in building systems is beneficial
• Relevant technical training, apprenticeship completion, or certification in elevator maintenance or electrical/mechanical trades is preferred
• Ability to read technical diagrams, follow safety regulations, and work at heights or in confined spaces as required
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and reliable time management skills
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex for on-site assignments
• 3+ years of work experience with Elevators
