Job summary

DP Professionals (DPP) is seeking a qualified elevator inspector in Maryland to oversee inspections ensuring elevators are installed to NEC, ASME and local home elevator codes.

Candidates must hold a QEI Certification and have electrical skills, schematic reading, and a willingness to travel occasionally. The role involves working at heights, lifting 50 lbs or more, and using hand tools, Salesforce, and Microsoft Office.

Oversees inspections ensuring elevators are installed to meet NEC, ASME, and local home elevator codes.

• MUST have Qualified Elevator Inspector (QEI) Certification
• High school diploma or GED
• Electrical skills and schematic reading
• Must be willing to work long hours if needed & occasional overnight travel
• Must be comfortable with heights and working on ladders
• Must be capable of lifting 50lbs or more and hard physical work
• Must be knowledgeable and experienced in proper use of hand tools
• Must have valid drivers’ license plus clean driving record
• Customer-oriented self-starter
• Knowledge of Salesforce and Microsoft Office products
