Maintain elevators and escalators on all three campuses. Perform preventative maintenance on all units. Work with contractors and write specifications for new equipment. Assist on routine inspections. Handle after-hours calls as directed. Will be required to attend a four-year training course on elevators and escalators.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform basic repairs on university elevators and escalators.
Perform preventative maintenance on university elevators and escalators.
Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems on elevators and escalators.
Assist with annual inspections for elevators and escalators.
Upgrade equipment.
Order parts.
Handle finance problems and set up accounts.
Find vendors.
Work with contractors.
Write specifications for equipment.
Compensation will be commensurate to candidate experience.
