Job summary

Want More is seeking a skilled Elevator Installer in Los Angeles to join our team. This full-time role involves installing, maintaining, and repairing elevator systems in various buildings.

You will read blueprints, diagnose issues, replace parts, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent client service. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years of elevator experience, strong technical knowledge, and the ability to work at heights.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as Elevator Installer or similar role.
• Strong technical knowledge of elevator systems including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical manuals.
• Physically fit with ability to lift heavy equipment and work at heights.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Must have valid driver's license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Install new elevator systems according to blueprints and manufacturer instructions.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing elevator systems.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with elevator systems.
• Replace faulty parts or components as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
• Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used.
• Communicate with clients to schedule installations or repairs.
• Provide excellent customer service at all times.
