Job summary

AdminBridge in Akron, Ohio is seeking an Elevator Installer to join our team. You will install, test, and maintain elevators in commercial buildings, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, and safety regulations to ensure reliable operation.

This contract position offers hands-on experience, on-site work in Akron, and visa sponsorship for eligible non‑US applicants. Accommodation is provided for selected candidates, and you will work with a team of experienced professionals to complete projects.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training or certification a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience installing elevators or similar mechanical systems
• Ability to read blueprints wiring diagrams and technical manuals
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols for working at heights
• Valid driver's license

Responsibilities

• Install and assemble elevator components according to blueprints and specifications
• Test and adjust elevator systems to ensure proper functioning
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues with elevators or related equipment
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients to coordinate installation schedules
• Keep accurate records of work performed including maintenance logs and service reports
• Stay up-to-date on industry standards codes and regulations related to elevator installation
