Paylocity is seeking a dedicated server for our fine dining team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of fine dining experience and a passion for exceptional customer service.

You will professionally present menus, take accurate orders, and ensure timely delivery while maintaining presentation standards. Duties include upselling, handling payments, and maintaining sanitation and teamwork with kitchen staff.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food service industry in fine dining or nightclub settings.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with guests.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
• Familiarity with OpenTable for reservations management is a plus.
• Basic math skills for accurate order taking and payment processing.
• Knowledge of culinary practices, food preparation techniques, and sanitation standards.
• Experience as a host/host is advantageous for understanding guest relations.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining individual accountability.

Responsibilities

• Present menus, provide recommendations, and answer any questions regarding food and beverage options.
• Take accurate orders using POS systems.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and drinks to tables while maintaining high standards of presentation.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
• Process payments accurately using cash handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and ensuring sanitation standards are met.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times.
