Job summary

BratHaus seeks an experienced bartender to join our Woodstock, IL team. You will take orders, prepare beverages, craft cocktails, and provide an outstanding guest experience in a busy, rustic urban setting.

You will ensure bar cleanliness and stock, check IDs, and perform opening/closing duties with accurate POS reporting. A valid Bassett and food handler certification help qualify you for this role.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a bartender.
• Knowledge of preparing and mixing beverages.
• Bassett certified and food handler certification.
• Basic computer and math skills; strong teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities

• Taking orders and serving drinks and snacks to bar customers.
• Preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Mixing classic and innovative cocktails.
• Communicating with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Nurturing customers to provide an exceptional guest experience.
• Making menu recommendations based on customers' needs and preferences.
• Keeping the bar clean, stocked, and well-organized.
• Checking IDs to ensure legal drinking age.
• Opening/Closing duties per management specification, including POS closing reports.
• Cash handling.
