The Aster in Los Angeles is seeking a Banquet Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences at events and functions. You will set up banquet spaces, serve food and beverages, and maintain spotless areas to ensure smooth service.

You will work closely with culinary and events teams, accommodate dietary needs, and respond promptly to guest requests. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is essential to help create memorable experiences for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in banquet or food service role(s) is required.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during events.
• Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications (tables, chairs, linens, place settings).
• Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally, accommodating dietary needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of banquet areas before, during, and after events.
• Collaborate with kitchen and event staff to coordinate timing and delivery of courses and refreshments.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and resolve service issues.
