Job summary

New Era Technology, West Chester, PA, is seeking an AV Installation Technician to install and decommission professional audio, video, and control systems for client sites. You will read installation plans, perform wiring, mount displays, and ensure safety and quality.

The role requires reading technical docs, good communication, ability to lift 50 pounds, travel to local sites, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Audio Visual knowledge helpful; experience in low voltage/construction acceptable.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be responsible, self-motivated, personable and well organized.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong interpersonal skills: ability to work with diverse groups.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Office, SharePoint, ConnectWise.
• Ability to plan, organize and implement skills to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to read and interpret general business documents.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb, sit and use hands and fingers.

Responsibilities

• Install and decommission professional audio, video and control systems.
• Read and understand installation processes and plans.
• Perform wire pulling and termination; install/display equipment.
• Label wires and equipment; use hand and power tools.
• Ensure safety, quality, and customer satisfaction on all jobs.
