Responsibilities

Conduct tutorial sessions that underscore collaborative learning.
Determine focus areas from student worksheets, notes, and discussions.
Work with students in various stages of the writing process (brainstorming, clustering, read-arounds, revision, editing).
Guide students toward independent learning with supported strategies.
Reinforce the idea that learning extends beyond studying to long-term achievement.
Assist students across subjects, using textbooks and classroom resources.
Facilitate lessons to enhance knowledge in reading, writing, math, and problem solving.
Communicate regularly with the teacher about student progress and concerns.
