Spring Education Group seeks an Elementary Assistant Teacher for Merryhill School to support a positive, structured elementary classroom and assist lead teachers with daily instruction. This role emphasizes academic encouragement, student engagement, and collaborative teamwork across staff and families.

You will help with small-group activities, reinforce routine expectations, and contribute to a safe, inclusive learning environment for elementary students.

Qualifications

• Experience working with elementary-aged children in school, childcare, camp, tutoring, or youth-focused setting.
• Strong communication, organization, and classroom support skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team and follow lead teacher direction.
• Patient, professional, and student-centered approach to supporting children.
• Commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment.
• Must meet all state licensing and background clearance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support a positive, engaging, and academically focused elementary classroom environment.
• Assist lead teachers with small-group instruction, classroom activities, projects, and daily routines.
• Help reinforce classroom expectations, school procedures, and positive student behavior.
