Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate required.
• Ability to work cooperatively on a teaching team; communicate with students effectively.
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office, Internet, Email, and online grading programs.

Responsibilities

• Establishes a classroom environment that engages students using diverse teaching strategies.
• Designs and delivers structured lesson plans aligned to standards and student needs.
• Monitors student progress and adjusts instruction to meet learning needs.
• Collaborates with parents and staff to support student learning.
• Maintains positive classroom discipline and supports a conducive learning atmosphere.
