Job summary

Circle of Greatness in Atlanta is seeking a caring, responsible Part-Time Elementary Teacher to provide educational support for children aged 4-6. The role emphasizes a warm, engaging classroom environment and individualized instruction.

You will plan daily lessons, support core subjects, adapt to each child’s needs, and maintain open communication with families. This in-person position runs Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM.

Qualifications

• Experience as Elementary Teacher, Private Teacher, Tutor, or similar role.
• Bilingual professional with strong interpersonal skills.
• Available Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and able to teach in person in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Provide engaging and age-appropriate instruction for elementary-aged children.
• Plan and organize daily lessons and educational activities.
• Support learning across core subjects such as reading, writing, mathematics, science, and other appropriate areas.
• Adapt lessons based on the children’s individual learning styles, needs, and progress.
• Create a positive, patient, structured, and encouraging learning environment.
• Monitor academic progress and identify areas where additional support may be needed.
• Help children develop strong study habits, organization, independence, and confidence.
• Communicate regularly with the family regarding progress, challenges, and learning goals.
• Maintain an organized and productive learning space.
• Ensure the children remain engaged and focused throughout the learning schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Previous experience as an Elementary Teacher, Private Teacher, Tutor, Homeschool Teacher, or in a similar educational role
• Bilingual professional
• Experience working directly with elementary-aged children.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, caring, organized, and dependable.
• Ability to create engaging and structured learning experiences.
• Comfortable adapting teaching methods to different learning styles.
• Must be available Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
• Must be able to work in person in Atlanta, Georgia.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree or educational background in Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or a related field.
• Previous classroom, private teaching, or homeschooling experience.
• Knowledge of elementary-level curriculum and learning standards
• Need to be certified
