Job description

Anticipated Dates: May 28 - June 30, 2025

  • NYS Certification in Students with Disabilities
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or experience in the following required:
    • NYS Learning Standards and curriculum design, delivery, and assessment;
    • Developmental Stages of Early Education;
    • Effective, student-centered classroom management strategies;
    • Culturally responsive instructional practices for elementary classrooms;
    • Integration of technology to plan, deliver, and assess student learning;
    • Use of summative & formative student data to inform instructional decisions & student progress;
    • Effective strategies for student and family engagement;
  • Must have the knowledge and ability to use various virtual platforms as needed for the position
  • Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills required
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Experience in a Special Education classroom setting
