Job summary

William Penn School District is seeking an Elementary Teacher for K-6 Pool to deliver developmentally appropriate lessons across districtwide settings, in alignment with PA Core Standards and IEPs. The role requires collaboration with students, families, and IEP teams to support individualized education plans.

Strong communication with parents, ongoing assessment, data collection, and effective classroom management are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Pennsylvania Certification: Grades Pre-4, Grades K-6, or a confirmed pathway to certification.

Responsibilities

• Educate students and implement IEPs in alignment with PA standards.
• Collaborate with IEP teams and Behavior Analyst to support student progress.
• Prepare lessons aligned to PA State Standards and student IEPs.
• Maintain attendance records and submit quarterly progress reports to families.
• Provide 1:1 training to staff in instruction and behavior as required by IEP.
