Job Description

Elementary Teacher is a full-time role at Reaching All Minds Academy (RAMA). The ideal candidate will be passionate about educating and impacting the lives of students; create a positive and engaging learning environment; and prioritize the growth and achievement of students. The Elementary Teacher position will report directly to RAMA’s Principle, Director of Curriculum, and Lead Teacher. This position will be a full-time position (45 hours per week). The Elementary Teacher will be required to be at RAMA Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 4:15 p.m.

Reaching All Minds Academy is a charter school in Durham County with the mission to prepare students to become productive citizens with the skills needed to solve complex problems, think critically, exhibit positive social competencies, and to function in a highly technological and global society.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Valid NC Teaching License
• 3+ years of experience teaching Elementary School
• Passion for working with low-income and at-risk student
• Self-motivated
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
• Experience working with targeted literacy instruction
• Experience with STEM instruction and Project Based Learning
