Job description

The ideal candidate will effectively create lesson plans consistent with the Archdiocese's grade-level standards and provide academic support according to students’ needs in our RtI program. Lessons will need to meet the needs, interests, and abilities of all the students while supporting the vision and mission of St. Gabriel Catholic Parish School. Our teachers are also expected to create a caring, supportive environment that is conducive to learning. Establishing clear and consistent communication with families to keep them informed of instruction and progress during and after interventions is a necessity. Applicants must have a positive mindset and a passion for teaching, curriculum development, and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

Current State of Wisconsin teaching license

Working knowledge of Google Suite and ability to integrate technology

Knowledge of Standards-Based Grading principles and practices

Believes ALL students can learn at high levels

Models Catholic spirituality, attitudes, and behaviors. A practicing Catholic is preferred.

Professional working attitude and collaborative approach.

Strong verbal, written, communication, and organizational skills.
