Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies is looking for a dedicated Teacher to support children’s learning and growth across our centers. You will lead classrooms, mentor junior staff, and implement our curriculum in alignment with each child’s needs, while partnering with families for the best care and education outcomes.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills; able to multitask.
• Active CDA Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2-3 years Early Childhood Education experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (preferred).
• Meet state qualifications for the role or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors/outdoors.
• English: read, write, speak to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners.
