Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and Florida certification is required.
• Professional Certificate in the subject taught must be held or obtained within three years.
• Progress toward certification must be documented in the first year and filed.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement hands‑on lesson plans with administrators and instructional teams.
• Diagnose and analyze student needs to provide appropriate instruction.
• Utilize varied instructional techniques to meet individual student needs.
• Assess student progress per Diocese of Orlando procedures.
• Maintain a safe, orderly classroom environment and professional records.
• Participate in Diocesan Catechist Certification and school PD programs.
• Collaborate with principal and staff in meetings and school projects.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional relationships with parents.
• Communicate with parents through conferences and written updates.
• Keep up to date on technology used by Diocese Catholic Schools.
• Monitor students in testing environments and follow Diocesan policies.
