Job summary

Plano ISD is seeking an Elementary 3-5 teacher to provide engaging learning experiences aligned with the district curriculum. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree and a valid Texas teaching certificate with appropriate endorsements for the assigned grade level.

ESL and Special Education credentials are required for applicable positions. Candidates should have at least one year of student teaching or approved internship, strong classroom management, and excellent communication skills to

Responsibilities

Develop and implement lesson plans aligned to the district curriculum.
Accommodate individual student differences in instruction.
Present subject matter per TEA guidelines, Board policies, and regulations.
Plan and use instructional strategies and technology to meet diverse student needs.
Assess student learning using formal and informal methods.
Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
Coordinate instructional goals with staff and align to district requirements.
Supervise teacher aides and volunteers as needed.
Maintain records and reports as required by the district.
