Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of grade-level standards, integrate technology, assess learning, and collaborate with colleagues. A Bachelor's degree and valid Pennsylvania instructional certificate or emergency permit are required. Credential verification is part of the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Valid Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Instructional Certificate in respective grade level, and endorsements in respective subject area, OR meet requirements to obtain an emergency permit and ability to consistently meet emergency permit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess students and align classroom goals to state/local standards.
• Provide instruction in respective subject areas with real-life applications.
• Teach inquiry techniques and encourage problem solving.
• Provide technology usage in the classroom and relevant software instruction.
• Create learning experiences requiring students to demonstrate understanding with technology.
• Collaborate with staff to integrate skills across the curriculum.
• Maintain classroom discipline and required records.
• Attend faculty meetings to discuss problems and teaching methods.
