Job summary

Cove Day School, part of the Bureau of Indian Education, seeks an Elementary Teacher to serve in a classroom on or near the Reservation. This is a school-year contract position with annual renewal and no remote work allowed.

Qualified applicants must hold a Bachelor's Degree and a valid State teaching certification/licensure in the appropriate endorsement area, with transitional licensure options described by ALTERNATIVE LICENSURE programs or DODEA certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required from an accredited education institution.
• All professional educators must possess a valid Teacher certification/licensure in the appropriate endorsement area.
• Transitional Teachers can use ALTERNATIVE LICENSURE programs or DODEA certification and must obtain full state Certification within three contract terms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a classroom teacher in a BIE school on or near the Reservation.
