Job summary

This position is part of the Mariano Lake Community School, Bureau of Indian Education. As a Teacher (Elementary) you will be responsible for serving as a classroom teacher in a BIE school on or near the Reservation.

This position requires SCHOOL YEAR CONTRACT per Public Law 95-561 and will require contract renewal on an annual basis. This role is not suitable for telework or remote consideration under any circumstances, and Transitional Teacher pathways may apply for licensure in progress under

Qualifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited education institution.
• All professional educators must possess a valid Teacher certification/licensure.
• Emergency and provisional certificates may be accepted under the issuing state's rules.
• Transitional Teacher options exist under ALTERNATIVE LICENSURE programs.
