We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced teacher to join our staff for the 2026-2027 school year. As a General Studies Morah for our 4th grade, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students. The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background, excellent teaching skills, and a passion for fostering academic excellence and personal growth.
Design and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our 4th grade students
Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and academic growth
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum that aligns with state standards and school goals
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and develop strategies to support student achievement
Communicate regularly with parents to keep them informed of student progress and involve them in their child's educational journey
Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education or related field
1 year of teaching experience, with a focus on 4th grade
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administer to diverse learning needs
Strong commitment to the values and mission of Yeshiva Ketana of Queens
Salary: $30,000 - $40,000 annually (to be negotiated based on experience)
