Job summary

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in education.
- Valid Alaska teaching certificate, or ability to obtain upon hire.
- Attendance at Literacy Institute and/or further training in the teaching of reading.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Principal, Literacy Coach, and staff on instructional strategies, assessment, curriculum and data analysis.
- Build strong relationships with families and staff to meet students' social, emotional and instructional needs.
- Implement differentiated instruction and early childhood best practices.
- Learn and implement new instructional techniques to support reading, writing and mathematics.
