Ombudsman Educational Services in Milford, IL seeks an Elementary School Teacher to support at-risk and nontraditional learners in a structured alternative setting. You will plan and deliver standards-based instruction, use data to tailor lessons, and foster a safe, inclusive classroom.

Collaborate with districts, families and staff to implement IEPs and accommodations, monitor progress, and participate in professional development focused on special education and student advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver standards-based, differentiated lessons for elementary students in an alternative education setting.
• Create a safe, structured, student-centered classroom that supports at-risk and nontraditional learners.
• Use assessments and student data to monitor progress and adjust instruction.
• Implement behavior support strategies and classroom management aligned with program expectations.
• Collaborate with school districts, support staff, and families to coordinate student supports.
• Contribute to IEP and intervention planning and implement accommodations as required.
• Maintain accurate attendance, grading, and documentation of student performance.
• Participate in professional development focused on special education, behavior support, and student advocacy.
