Job summary

Saint Louis Covenant Catholic School in Pinecrest is seeking a qualified and dynamic full-time Teacher Aide for the coming 2026-27 school year. The candidate must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team.

The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or associated degree; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Excellent classroom management skills, helping to maintain a safe and nurturing environment.
• Ability to assist the teacher with small groups, yard duty, and other duties pertaining to a teacher aide.
• Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents, and staff.
• Experience with Apple and educational technology a plus.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice. Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor, including the dres code.
