St. Theresa Catholic School in Coral Gables, Florida has an opening for a qualified and dynamic full-time Teacher Aide for the coming 2026-27 school year, to assist at the elementary level. The applicant must be nurturing, creative and a dedicated professional with the ability to support the learning environment, cultivate critical thinking skills, and work collaboratively as part of a team. The candidate performs all duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and tenets of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami and St. Theresa Catholic School. Salary will vary based on education and years of experience.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of a high school diploma or associated degree; Bachelor’s in education preferred.
• Ability to assist the teacher with small groups, yard duty, and other duties pertaining to a teacher aide.
• Ability to integrate the Catholic worldview with the subjects.
• Ability to work as a team member with a variety of students, parents, and staff.
• Apple and technology skills needed with digital books and interactive classroom technology, as well as the ability to integrate technology into the subjects.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Proficiency in Google apps.
• Excellent oral and written English language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar are required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
