Position Title: Certified Teacher

Supervisor: Principal at assigned location

Term of Employment: 9 months

Salary Classification: Teacher Salary Schedule

Job Summary: Be a difference maker by bringing creativity and innovation to the classroom! Help students learn subject matter and skills that contribute to their development as responsible individuals.

Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Student Success: Manage and educate students, develop engaging lesson plans, document student grades and evaluations.
• Safety and Well-Being: Create a safe, inviting, and nurturing environment, uphold discipline policies, protect students and resources.
• Community Connection: Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and community members, be available outside instructional hours for education-related purposes.
• Stewardship of Resources: Maintain accurate records, adhere to policies, and strive for professional growth. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate (intern, provisional, or standard) or qualifications to obtain one; Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.

Other Requirements: Additional training for specialized roles, background check, valid ID, physical ability to lift supplies and students, possible outside hours and travel.
