Job summary

BASIS Elementary is recruiting talented teachers for our co-teaching model. Our K-3 or K-4 classrooms at BASis campuses are co-taught by two teachers who collaborate with students to tailor learning experiences.

Our Learning Expert Teachers (LETs) customize instruction to meet each child’s needs, fostering a joyful, rigorous learning culture. We seek educators who love teaching, embrace high standards, and believe every child can excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Valid Identity Verified Prints IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card required.
• Demonstrated passion for student achievement and directed effort to raise individual student outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead one cohort of students and guide them through classroom transitions.
• Collaborate with the Subject Expert Teacher (SET) for each class period.
• Provide individualized or small group instruction to meet differentiated needs.
• Establish and maintain standards of student behavior to support a functional learning atmosphere.

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for one cohort of students and lead them through classroom transitions during the day
