Job description

Loraine School is potentially looking to fill an Elementary Teaching Position for the 2025-2026 school year. This position is currently for 3rd, 4th, and 5th Social Studies/Science.

Certification: EC-4, EC-6, and ESL; Will consider alternative certification programs and student teaching candidates.

Loraine ISD is an EC-12 school with approximately 140 students and 38 staff members. Loraine is located an hour west of Abilene on I-20, about 75 minutes north of San Angelo, and 30 minutes south of Snyder. Our adopted calendar for next year is a 4-day school week.

We are seeking a teacher with a "kids-first" mentality and a tech-savvy approach to student engagement and instruction. The right fit for our campus will be a professional who is a positive team player and embraces an instructional environment centered on intentional professional growth.
