Job summary

Peoria Unified School District seeks a Certified Teacher to join Alta Loma Elementary in Peoria, AZ. Qualifications

• A valid intern, provisional, or standard Arizona Teaching Certificate; or eligibility to become certified in the state of Arizona.
• Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a government issued ID.
• May be required to lift and carry heavy supplies up to 20 pounds and students up to 60 pounds.

• Specialized teaching assignments may require additional training and/or certification
• Must possess or obtain an Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Must be able to pass a background clearance check.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid government issued ID
• May be required to lift and carry heavy, bulky supplies and materials weighing up to 20 pounds
• May be required to lift students weighing up to 60 pounds
• May be required to work outside normal working hours
• May be required to travel to perform work functions
