Job Description

Rochester Academy Charter School (RACS) is currently seeking qualified candidates for an immediate opening for the position of Third Grade Teacher for the 26-27 school year. This is a full-time contract position.

Candidates should expect:

• Small class size- Max 25 students
• Integrated co-teaching classroom with an experienced co-teacher
• A supportive grade level and leadership team
• Support for challenging situations with a dedicated Student Care Staff
• New York State Teachers' Retirement
• Early School schedule- 7:15-3:15
• Mentoring program

Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess New York State Teacher certification in Grade 1-6, substaintial pay increase for NYS certification. Candidates with out-of-state certification will be considered. Experience is preferred but not required. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Education or have completed a teacher certification program. Salary will be calculated based on status of certification, years of experience, andaccomplishment of a Master's Degree.
