The Westbrook School Department is seeking a full time Speech Therapist Substitute at Canal School. The year long position will require working with K-4 students with speech and language needs ranging from challenges with articulation to the use of augmentative, alternative communication (AAC) devices. The position requires knowledge of interventions, evaluations, participation in IEP meetings, and the eagerness to be part of a dynamic team, providing comprehensive services, completing the State of Maine paperwork requirements and meeting timelines. The qualified candidate will be given: year long substitute pay. The therapist will become part of our devoted, friendly, and collaborative special education team.
