Job summary

The Forestdale School in Sandwich, MA, is seeking a certified Speech and Language Pathologist for the 2026-2027 school year to support PreK-2 students.

The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology, MA licensure, and experience delivering IEP-based services; strong communication and collaboration with families and staff are essential.

This is a full-time, onsite role requiring travel between district sites and adherence to district policies.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology.
• Licensed as an Educational SLP by the MA Board of Teaching.
• Ability to work with students, parents and staff.
• Ability to develop and implement speech and language interventions.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to travel between district sites.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized speech and language therapy for students in small groups, classrooms and individually as determined by IEP.
• Evaluate and develop a report and present results at the student’s IEP Team meeting.
• Complete progress reports for all students on caseload.
• Provide services for students on regular education treatment plans.
• Collaborate with inclusion and general education teachers to integrate services.
