Job summary

KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools is seeking a Speech & Language Pathologist to support students across our Philadelphia campuses. The clinician will conduct 1:1 and small-group therapy, evaluate language and articulation needs, and develop IEP goals while collaborating with teachers and families.

This is a full-time, 10-month role with a strong emphasis on equity and student growth. Qualifications include a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, PA licensure, and required

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Certified Speech Language Pathologist with PA licensure.
  • Master's degree.
  • Pass all required clearances including criminal and child abuse background checks.
  • Up to date liability insurance.
  • Complete all required criminal and child abuse background checks: PA State Police Clearance, PA Child Abuse Clearance, Cogent Federal Fingerprinting.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech and language therapy to students 1:1, in groups, and in inclusive classrooms.
  • Conduct evaluations and screenings for receptive and expressive language, articulation, and related needs.
  • Write evaluation reports and IEP goals; monitor progress and communicate findings to families and staff.
  • Attend IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers to integrate goals into instruction.
  • Complete Access billing documentation monthly and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
