Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Responsibilities

• Work with individuals or small groups of students.
• Diaper and attend to toileting needs, as necessary.
• Administer, correct and communicate basic analysis of student assessments.
• Utilize conclusions from assessment analysis in instruction.
• Instruct students on conduct and behaviors.
• Bring academic, social and motor issues to the classroom teacher's attention.
• May update parents or guardians on student performance and behavior.
• Support class objectives and district curriculum.
• Maintain records, attendance and assessments as required by the teacher.
• Assist in preparation of classroom materials.
• Assist in delivering differentiated instruction aligned with curriculum.
• Provide timely feedback to the teacher on student progress.
• Assist students with activities of daily living.

Education
