Position: Elementary Specialist Teacher (Kindergarten Specialists & Technology)

Location: Birchview Elementary School

FTE: 0.7

Starting date: Fall 2025

Position Description

Candidates selected for the role of Elementary Specialist Teacher will be responsible for continuing our commitment to academic excellence through designing and delivering instruction that supports a diverse learner population. Building positive relationships and collaborating with students, parents, and staff to foster a positive learning environment are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Valid MN K-6 teaching license.
• Previous elementary teaching experience preferred.
• Deep knowledge of core areas such as Language Arts, Math, and early literacy.
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated strategies for diverse learners.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Calm and effective handling of unexpected circumstances.
• Proficiency with current educational technology.
• Ability to analyze and respond to data on student learning.
