Responsibilities

Develops and implements lesson plans that fulfill WV standards and district curriculum.
Uses 21st-century technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
Delivers rigorous instruction to all students.
Instills ethical principles and democratic values in students.
Plans and uses appropriate instructional strategies reflecting diverse learning styles.
Maintains open communication with parents, students, and staff to support learning.
Supervises aides/volunteers and coordinates co-curricular activities as needed.
Assists in modifying curricula for IEP students and works with other staff to set goals.
