Elementary Special Education Teacher near Forest Lake, MN

Join a woman and therapist-run company dedicated to enhancing the employment experience in schools! Ampersand Therapy is seeking Special Education Teachers in the Forest Lake, MN area for the 2025-2026 school year.

Position Details:

1. Onsite Elementary Special Education Teacher
2. Federal Setting III Center Based DCD/ASD Teacher
3. Full-time, in-person position (37.5 hours/week)
4. Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm
5. Caseload: 8-10 elementary students or fewer

Responsibilities include collaborating with the Special Education Team to implement accommodations and interventions as per student IEPs, creating a welcoming and safe environment for students with moderate to significant disabilities, attending staff and IEP meetings, and coordinating with school teams.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in education or a related field
• Valid MN teaching license in a special education field
• Experience teaching school-age students
