Job summary

Child Guidance Resource Centers (CGRC) seeks a Special Education teacher for its elementary emotional support private school setting in Delaware County. The role focuses on academic instruction while teaching pro-social skills and implementing IEP/CER for each student.

The EES program serves K-8 students in a licensed private school, emphasizing structure, social-emotional growth, and coordination of mental health and educational services. School year schedule is Monday–Friday, 8–4.

Qualifications

• State Certification In Special Education Is Required.
• Experience with IEP development and reviews.
• Ability to implement behavior modification plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop IEPs for each child and attend ongoing reviews.
• Develop, plan, and facilitate weekly thematic units to meet IEP goals.
• Complete progress monitoring on all assigned clients.
• Develop and implement the behavior modification program in assigned classroom.
• Provide individual/group instruction to children enrolled in the CGRC program.
• Demonstrate therapeutic relationship skills including boundaries and confidentiality.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings for services coordination.
