Qualifications

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials for individualized and small group instruction.
• Design and implement Individualized Education Plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop lesson plans and instructional materials and provide individualized and small group instruction in order to adapt the curriculum to the needs of each pupil.
• Translate lessons plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction.
• Design and Implement Individualized Education Plans
• Evaluate pupils’ academic and social growth, keeps appropriate records, and prepares progress reports.
• Create an effective environment for learning through displays and centers.
• Maintain professional competence through district-provided or self-initiated growth activities.
• Monitor and address students' physical, emotional, and intellectual needs on an ongoing basis.
• Demonstrate positive interpersonal relationships with students, staff, and parents.
• Supervise pupils in out-of-classroom activities during the assigned working day.
• Maintain reports and records required by regulations of the Berea Independent Board of Education and Kentucky statutes.
