Elementary Special Education Level VI Paraprofessionals for ESY

Position Details

Up to 6 Elementary Special Education Level VI paraprofessional positions are available from June 3 to June 27 (no school on June 19). The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM, with an additional 30 minutes on the first day for training, totaling up to 60.5 hours.

Qualifications

• High School diploma; additional post-secondary training relevant to children is preferred.
• Acceptance of students' disabilities and limitations.
• Ability to lift, pull, or move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Ability to accept direction from supervising teachers and work as part of a team.

Salary

Based on the 2024-2025 Paraprofessional Agreement salary schedule for Level VI, at the employee's current step, ranging from $20.52 to $26.33 per hour.

• Benefits include 4 hours of sick leave (not to be deducted from current sick leave balances; does not carry over).
